For UBC's Institute for the Oceans and Fisheries, I enhanced the published DIVERSE model to forecast prices across 238 marine species under climate scenarios through 2100 — cut validation error by 71% with an XGBoost approach, and wrote it up as a working paper.

I had to research extensively to decide whether installing solar panels was worth it for my old family house so I built a handy dashboard for those who wants to do the same.

I was curious how unrealistic my friends' criteria on their dream partner really were, so I built a calculator that estimates how many random people you'd have to meet to find one. Results are devastating but statistically rigorous.
